My mother and I were born in the Rhondda but trace our ancestry back to North Wales, in particular the areas around Dolwyddelan,  Eglwysbach and Anglesey. I set out to paint a series of pictures of North Wales which were exhibited as part of group exhibitions by Radius in 2006/07 and have continued ever since.
